My
eldest sister, Lee Huey, has lost her younger son, Benedict Goh.
He was driving along Dunearn Road on the night of 26th June 2012.
According to passers-by who assisted him out of the
car, he died on the spot.
He looked peaceful (body intact, no blood stains) when
he was taken to the mortuary.
As a child, Benedict was quiet and obedient. He
travelled often with my aged parents during the holidays. This picture was
taken at Ko Samui, Thailand 12 years ago.
He was well-loved and brought much joy to the family.
During his free time, he had even assisted me in my work and was a junior
member of the BIG Rallye Cycle Team.
Benedict studied at S’pore Polytechnic (SP) and was
due for National Service enrolment next month.
I am not sure if he enjoyed his studies but I am
certain about his love for rugby as seen in the below picture taken immediately
after representing the SP team.
The local ruby community will miss him......
Lee Huey and her family will
have to continue life without Benedict.
But most importantly, may God take this promising young
man to a better place.
